3 from Kelly, 2 from Ben and a 9lb 2oz bruiser from Jo

The Hibs youth policy was added to last week when Jo Houlgate produced a bouncing baby boy - Benjamin Paul, congratulations to the Gibb family from all at the Hibs!!!. On the pitch it was good to see another Ben return to action after a 4 month lay off.

A scratch Hibs side, needed to pull Barry Norman off the job to provide cover on the bench. Dirk arrived just in time from that mysterious place 'Lambing' and was called into action straight away palming away a 20 yard strike from the ever youthful Wils (has a seagull dropped something on his napper??!!). The home side were soon stunned when Machine Gun latched onto a through ball from Leroy and cooly finished. The lead was short lived as another 20 yard Wils strike cannoned off the cross-bar and fell to the ageless John Hales who volleyed home, 1-1 with only a few minutes gone.

Both sides had good chances to take the lead. Machine Gun, BBB and Stoz getting into great positions but the finish or final ball didn't do the build up justice. Hales at the other end wasting good opportunities. 1-1 HT.

The 2nd half was just as furious, the Hibs starting to get on top but were still struggling to put the ball in the back of the net. After 70 minutes the Hibs finally broke through when Paul Simpson in the Ingleby goal spilled a cross and BBB was in the perfect position to tap home, a few minutes later BBB rounded the keeper and slotted home to make the game safe.

BBB gave way for Barry Norman, and the inspired substitution resulted in two late goals from Machine Gun, his 2nd hatrick of the season taking his league tally to 15.

COW - has to go to BBB and Machine Gun for that double miss (Ronnie Rosenthal nominees)!!!

Snapometer - 9.9
