2005 Awards

A big thanks to Janet, Pamela and staff for once again providing excellent food and service at the hibs presentation nite. All the awards were closely contested, Pazza once again picked up the Clubman Award, Gerogie Best and Tim the Toolman Taylor sharing the Golden Boot with 9 goals a piece (league goals only). Dirk Diggler got the Managers player of the Year and Loverboy Lloyd pipped Leo Sayer to the Younger player of the Award. The Players' Players of the Year went to Stoz who narrowly beat Lard for the 'biggy'!!

The most coveted award of the evening was picked up by Tom Hanks, who demonstrated his rolly polly snatch the air combo to take The Ruby Slipper Award for best goal celebration. A close call, especially up against TTTT's poxy whipping the corner flag entry, but his presence on the evening ensured the capture of the award initiated by the 'real casual' duo Dave and The Kraut.

A fair point was made by Dave that, the master minds behind 'The Hibs Herald', should present this award - so next season its the dynamic duo you need to be impressing with your original goal celebrations - get your tinking caps on.
